Job Description

Position Responsibilities

Percent of Time

Data Privacy Operations – 45%

  • Supports local legal (India) & Privacy Office (Global) in operationalizing and maintenance of India's Privacy law (DPDPA)
  • Supports in creating Processing Activity Records
  • Operationalize Privacy management services and delivery aspect:
  • Review and approval of PbD (Privacy by Design) assessments
  • Proactively coordinating with stakeholders on PbD assessment follow-ups, pertaining to assessment completion
  • Performs periodic monitoring on Personal Data Inventories
  • Supports with Privacy Reporting metrics and scorecard

Compliance Operations – 45%

  • Supports stakeholders in completing application risk profiles, assessing business criticalities, and enabling control through compliance risk assessments
  • Performs compliance periodic monitoring on application compliance objectives and controls
  • Supports with updates to ZTD Process Framework (Processes, Templates, etc.)
  • Supports in audit and inspections remediation activities
  • Supports with IT Risk Management Reporting metrics and scorecard

Supervision – 10%

  • Supervise 1 ZICC Quality & Compliance Analyst

Organizational Relationships

  • This position will primarily interact with the ZTD group and occasionally with Zoetis business colleagues

Education and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Formal training and/or experience in Data Privacy, and computer system validation space highly desired
  • Relevant certification such as CISA, CRISC, or CIPT/CIPM is preferred

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • 4+ years of experience in Regulatory (GxP & CSV) Compliance
  • 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries supporting IT initiatives is a plus
  • Expertise in principles, theories, and concepts of regulatory compliance, and of pharmaceutical regulations; including industry knowledge of implementing controls within processes and tools
  • Demonstrated skills for independently guiding quality and compliance activities during system development and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across the organization
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills

Physical Position Requirements

  • Travel Requirements: 5%
  • Work Hours: Ability to overlap up to 4 hours with US Eastern Standard Time
