The Role
We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Solution Architect to drive the design and delivery of cutting-edge, scalable solutions within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering background, cloud platform expertise (GCP/AWS), and proven experience working with healthcare payer platforms and AI-powered solutions, combined with exposure to AI/GenAI to drive intelligent automation and efficiency across payer operations
Work You'll Do
- Design scalable, secure, and modern cloud-native applications (preferably on GCP or AWS)
- Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives, including legacy/mainframe-to-cloud migration
- Develop and deploy AI/GenAI-powered automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability of healthcare workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define and align solution architecture
- Create architecture blueprints and modernization roadmaps supporting enterprise-wide healthcare transformation initiatives
- Design and implement solutions following microservices, serverless, and event-driven principles
- Work closely with healthcare payer systems such as Facets, TriZetto, and Health Edge to design integrated enterprise solutions
- Provide architectural guidance for healthcare workflows including claims, enrollment, billing, provider management, and member services
- Leverage AI/GenAI capabilities to enable automation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance decision-making across payer workflows
- Provide technical mentorship, support capability development, and upskill teams
- Support pre-sales by creating solution proposals, conducting demos, and participating in client discussions
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, HIPAA compliance standards, and performance optimization
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience in software engineering, architecture, and solution delivery
- Strong experience in the healthcare domain, preferably with US Healthcare payer systems
- Hands-on experience with healthcare platforms such as Facets, TriZetto, HealthEdge, or similar core administration systems
- Strong programming knowledge: Java, Python, SCloud experience: GCP,AWS
- Expertise in Microservices, SOA, Serverless, RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, Docker
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, EDI/X12 is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams
- Exposure to AI/GenAI tools and platforms is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solution Architect – Associate or Professional
- Certifications in GenAI, Prompt Engineering, or Cloud Architecting
- Healthcare domain certifications or experience in HIPAA-compliant solution delivery would be an added advantage
- Experience applying AI/GenAI in enterprise or healthcare use cases is a plus
