We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong backend skills and full-stack capability. You will primarily work on Django-based backend services, async task pipelines, and REST APIs, while also contributing to Next.js frontend features. The role suits someone comfortable owning backend modules end-to-end and collaborating across infrastructure and frontend when needed.

• Build and maintain backend services using Django and Django REST Framework — serializers, permissions, middleware, and API documentation.

• Design and implement async task pipelines with Celery and RabbitMQ, including retry handling, dead-letter queues, and task monitoring.

• Contribute to Next.js frontend features — SSR, API routes, and component development using TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.

• Implement and maintain caching strategies using Redis — session management, query caching, and cache invalidation.

• Write clean, testable code with proper test coverage (pytest, factory-boy, DRF test client).

• Participate in code reviews, follow CI quality gates, and contribute to engineering standards.

• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to deliver features reliably in a containerized environment.

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong Python and Django — ORM, migrations, custom managers, query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Celery + RabbitMQ — task retries, DLQs, concurrency, Flower monitoring.

• Solid Redis knowledge — caching patterns, TTL strategy, session backends.

• Working knowledge of Next.js — App Router, server components, TypeScript.

• REST API design — versioning, pagination, throttling, JWT authentication.

• PostgreSQL — indexing, query plans, transactions.

• Docker — multi-stage builds, Compose-based local development.

• Comfortable with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration concepts.

• Familiarity with observability tools — Grafana, OpenSearch, VictoriaMetrics, or GlitchTip.

• Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation.

• Knowledge of API gateways — Kong OSS (declarative mode) or similar.

• Familiarity with Keycloak or any OIDC/OAuth2 IAM integration.

• Infrastructure-as-code experience — Terraform, Helm.

• Exposure to Jenkins or similar self-hosted CI/CD pipelines.

GovTech, FinTech, or enterprise platform background.
