Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web, mobile, and API applications while ensuring software quality across the development lifecycle. You will build and enhance scalable automation frameworks, execute functional and regression testing, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The position also involves collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve test coverage, streamline quality processes, and deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Create and enhance automation frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios and automated test cases.
• Execute automated and manual test cases as required.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings.
• Generate test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong experience in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit.
• Experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle and dependency management.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test automation strategies.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to performance testing tools.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Basic SQL and database validation skills.
