The Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing managers across Infrastructure Operations functions across APAC and EMEA. This role drives operational excellence, governance, performance management, tooling maturity, automation enablement, and strategic alignment across infrastructure domains including Server, Storage, Backup, Cloud, and Platform Operations.

The role is responsible for building a scalable, metrics-driven, and automation-oriented operational model aligned with enterprise IT strategy and regional business priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong technical operations leadership with process discipline, operational governance, automation mindset, and executive-level communication capability.

In addition to operational leadership, this role will focus on driving strategic initiatives around CloudOps, infrastructure automation, operational modernization, and closer alignment with SIS Automation teams to evolve traditional operations into an automation-first operating model.

You will lead Infrastructure Operations excellence across APAC and EMEA, driving automation, operational transformation, and strategic alignment.

What you will do:

- Lead and mentor Infrastructure Operations managers across APAC and EMEA
- Oversee operational functions spanning Server, Storage, Backup, Cloud, Platform, and Infrastructure Services
- Ensure consistent, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure services across regions
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with enterprise IT and business objectives
- Provide leadership oversight across cross-functional infrastructure teams and operational domains
- Drive strategic operational initiatives across Server Operations, Storage Operations, Backup and Recovery Services, Cloud Operations (CloudOps), and Infrastructure Automation
- Build and mature a scalable CloudOps operational model supporting hybrid and cloud infrastructure environments
- Develop operational strategies supporting modernization, resiliency, scalability, and automation
- Align infrastructure operational capabilities with long-term enterprise transformation initiatives
- Drive the transformation of traditional operational teams toward an automation-oriented operating model
- Partner closely with SIS Automation teams to identify, prioritize, and implement automation opportunities
- Champion automation-first operational practices to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and increase efficiency
- Promote operational engineering practices leveraging scripting, orchestration, AI-enabled operations, and workflow automation
- Establish operational frameworks that integrate automation into day-to-day infrastructure management
- Champion operational process maturity, governance, and standardization across APAC and EMEA
- Institutionalize best practices across Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Escalation Management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational stability and efficiency
- Ensure operational compliance with enterprise standards and governance requirements
- Define, implement, and govern operational KPIs, SLAs, and performance scorecards
- Conduct regular operational reviews with managers and regional stakeholders
- Establish metrics-driven operational accountability and reporting frameworks
- Identify operational trends and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Improve operational visibility through dashboards, reporting, and analytics
- Expand and optimize JIRA adoption for infrastructure operational tracking and governance
- Establish standards for operational work intake, prioritization, workflow management, and reporting
- Improve transparency, workload balancing, resource utilization, and reporting accuracy
- Ensure operational activities across regions are fully measurable and traceable
- Oversee major incident management and regional escalation processes
- Provide executive oversight for high-impact operational issues and service disruptions
- Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and sustainable remediation plans are completed effectively
- Drive reduction in repeat incidents and operational escalations through governance and process discipline
- Deliver operational updates, executive dashboards, risk assessments, and performance reviews to leadership
- Act as the primary liaison between Infrastructure Operations leadership and business stakeholders
- Translate technical operational insights into business-impact narratives and strategic recommendations
- Ensure leadership visibility into operational health, risks, and transformation initiatives
- Partner with regional leadership teams across APAC and EMEA
- Collaborate closely with SIS Automation, Cloud, DevOps, Security, Platform Engineering, and Application teams
- Ensure alignment between regional operational execution and global infrastructure strategy
- Drive consistency and collaboration across geographically distributed teams


REQUIREMENTS

How you will get here:

Required:

- 10+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with at least 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience managing managers and cross-functional infrastructure teams across global regions
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, Server and Compute Operations, Storage and Backup Platforms, Infrastructure Automation, and Platform Operations
- Experience building or managing CloudOps operational environments
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and operational governance frameworks
- Advanced experience with JIRA or enterprise work management platforms
- Demonstrated experience leading major incidents and operational escalations
- Experience driving operational transformation and automation initiatives
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

- Experience working across APAC and EMEA operational environments
- Background in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation initiatives
- Experience partnering with enterprise automation or engineering teams
- Exposure to AI-enabled operations (AIOps) and operational analytics platforms
- Strong analytical and metrics-driven leadership mindset
