We are looking for a highly creative, experienced, and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our growing studio in Bengaluru. If you're passionate about creating exceptional spaces, leading projects from concept to completion, mentoring designers, and delivering outstanding client experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Role Description

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the design and execution of premium residential interior projects while collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and execution teams. You will be responsible for developing innovative design concepts, preparing high-quality technical drawings, overseeing site execution, and ensuring every project reflects our commitment to design excellence.

You will also mentor Junior and Interior Designers, ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Client Management

• Lead residential interior design projects from concept development to final execution.
• Conduct client meetings to understand requirements, budgets, and design preferences.
• Present design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections confidently to clients.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure a seamless design experience throughout the project.

Design Strategy & Concept Development

• Develop creative, innovative, and functional interior design concepts.
• Create detailed space planning solutions that maximize functionality and aesthetics.
• Lead the preparation of mood boards, design presentations, and design narratives.
• Stay updated with emerging design trends, materials, technologies, and luxury interior concepts.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare and review detailed AutoCAD drawings including:
• Floor Plans
• Furniture Layouts
• Electrical Layouts
• False Ceiling Drawings
• Elevations
• Sections
• Working Drawings
• Joinery Details
• Custom Furniture Details
• Ensure all drawings meet execution standards and project requirements.

3D Visualization

• Develop high-quality 3D models using SketchUp.
• Create photorealistic renderings using V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or similar software.
• Review and approve visualization quality before client presentations.

Material Selection & Vendor Coordination

• Lead material selection, finishes, furniture, lighting, fabrics, and décor decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for sourcing premium materials.
• Ensure materials align with project budgets and design intent.

Site Supervision & Execution

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and vendors.
• Resolve design and execution challenges on-site.
• Ensure projects are executed as per approved drawings, timelines, and quality standards.
• Review workmanship and ensure attention to detail throughout execution.

Team Leadership

• Guide and mentor Junior Interior Designers and Interior Designers.
• Review drawings, renderings, and technical documentation prepared by the design team.
• Maintain design quality and consistency across all projects.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the studio.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in residential interior design and turnkey project execution.
• Proven experience independently managing multiple residential projects.
• Experience handling luxury residential interiors will be an added advantage.

Software Mastery
