Role Sr. Manager – HR Operations & Talent Acquisition
Industry: IT Product / SaaS
Location: Gurugram / NCR
Reporting To: CEO / CFO / Director
Experience & Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
12 to 15 years of progressive HR experience
Strong exposure to HR Operations, Compliance, Payroll & Talent Acquisition
Prior experience in IT Product / SaaS / Technology organisation preferred
Role Purpose
To lead and scale a robust HR Operations and Talent Acquisition function for a growing IT Product organisation by ensuring:
Strong HR governance and statutory compliance
Accurate, audit‑ready payroll and documentation controls
Predictable and efficient hiring aligned to product and business plans
Note: Employee engagement, culture-building, and branding initiatives are not within scope of this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Governance
Own complete employee lifecycle operations: onboarding, contracts, confirmations, exits, and settlements
Ensure HRMS data accuracy, documentation discipline, and SOP adherence
Establish strong internal controls and process standardisation across teams
2. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
Lead end‑to‑end payroll for permanent and contractual workforce
Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and other applicable laws
Partner with Finance on payroll audits, provisioning, and reconciliations
Handle statutory filings, inspections, and regulatory interactions
3. Policies & Employee Relations
Define and enforce core HR policies (leave, hybrid/WFH, POSH, code of conduct, disciplinary)
Handle operational ER matters including disciplinary actions and exits
Ensure all decisions are legally compliant, consistent, and well‑documented
4.Talent Acquisition (Strategy & Execution)
Own end‑to‑end hiring across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, data, and business roles
Drive workforce planning aligned to business and product roadmap
Manage sourcing channels, consultants, and recruitment vendors
Strengthen hiring governance including approvals, closures, and quality checks
5. Audit & Risk Management
Lead HR responsibilities in internal, statutory, and certification audits (SOC/ISO – HR scope)
Ensure timely closure of audit observations
Maintain audit‑ready documentation and compliance records
