Senior Director Tax

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in formulating the headquarters tax planning strategy, oversee the overall tax planning for subsidiaries and branches, and ensure effective implementation.
2. Adjust the company's tax planning schemes in a timely manner in line with group policies.
3. Manage tax risks: assess business operations, conduct risk reviews across legal entities, develop mitigation plans, monitor execution, and reduce exposure.
4. Track changes in fiscal and tax policies in the countries where the company operates, and provide proactive tax risk management recommendations.
5. Analyze tax implications in major business decisions and offer tax-related advice.
6. Drive tax digitalisation: design and standardise tax processes based on local regulations and business needs, and promote the development of tax data information systems.
7. Provide tax consultation and training to subsidiaries.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Law, or related fields; CPA, CTA, or ACCA certification preferred.
2. 8+ years of tax experience, with at least 5 years in international tax practice; experience in a multinational corporation or a Big Four firm is required.
3. Deep expertise in international taxation and transfer pricing, with proven track record in cross‑border structuring or successful tax planning projects.
4. Fluent in English as a working language, capable of directly liaising with overseas teams and advisors.
5. Strong strategic thinking, cross‑functional coordination skills, and team management capabilities.
