Job Description

Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 6+yrs

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Roles and Responsibilities:

Experience

• Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, including at least three (3) years in a senior or lead engineering capacity.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating infrastructure supporting enterprise-scale software deployment.

Technical Competencies

• Deep, hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and toolchain ownership, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent enterprise-grade platforms.
• Extensive background in Linux systems administration and virtualization technologies, including KVM, VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox,RHEL.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code frameworks, including Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tooling.
• Advanced scripting capabilities across Bash, Python, and PowerShell, with a track record of automating complex operational workflows.
• Proficient in AWS/GCP/AZURE clouds
• Proficiency in Infrastructure (storage network compute)

• Leadership & Communication
• Demonstrated ability to own and defend architectural decisions, with a proven capacity to articulate tradeoffs clearly to both engineering teams and executive program leadership.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in hyperscaler environments, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Azure; familiarity with hybrid on-premises and cloud deployment models.
• Background in enterprise software organizations delivering on-premises or multi-platform commercial products.
• Familiarity with EITL or analogous integration of laboratory environments within an enterprise engineering organization.
• Experience operating within committed, date-driven delivery cycles with accountability to a fixed ship date.
