We are seeking a highly skilled and design-driven Senior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading architectural design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design excellence, and delivering projects that align with the firm's design philosophy and sustainability goals. This role requires strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving abilities, and experience managing projects from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives related to design, execution, timelines, and sustainability are achieved.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the firm's design philosophy and mentor the team to ensure consistent implementation across projects.
- Research and refer to internal and external resources to stay updated with global architectural trends, design innovations, and technological advancements.
- Guide the team in integrating architecture seamlessly with façade, interior, and landscape design.
- Resolve technical and design challenges through innovative and practical solutions.
- Review architectural drawings, construction documentation, specifications, and project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Monitor and ensure quality control across all architectural elements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, update, and maintain project manuals and technical specifications.
- Contribute actively to internal design reviews by gathering, analyzing, and presenting relevant design information.
- Conduct site visits, document site observations, address RFIs (Requests for Information), and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Support the Team Lead in preparing high-quality client presentations and design proposals.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards, and architectural best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized and accredited institute.
- 5–9 years of professional experience in architectural design and project execution.
- Strong design conceptualization, detailing, and execution skills.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Adobe Photoshop
- Other advanced architectural design and visualization software
- Strong understanding of architectural design standards, construction processes, and documentation.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications such as:
- GRIHA
- LEED
- ECBC
- WELL
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
