Codemonk's largest client relationships are being run by our founders today — including a global enterprise account where we've completed 27 engagements out of 70+ opportunities pursued over the relationship, and a strategic overseas partnership targeting 3x growth this year. We're hiring the first dedicated owner for that work: someone who turns steady delivery relationships into deliberately grown accounts, rather than waiting for the client to ask.
About Codemonk
Codemonk is a product and digital engineering (PDE) services company. We build custom software across three service lines: Enterprise AI (knowledge retrieval, agentic workflows, process automation), Enterprise Application Engineering (portals, platforms, and enterprise integrations), and Computer Vision & Industrial AI (safety monitoring, quality inspection, spatial intelligence). We work with global enterprises, including a long-standing relationship with a Fortune 500 FMCG company, alongside specialized industrial and technology clients across India and Japan.
About The Role
You'll own a portfolio of existing accounts spanning our largest strategic relationships and a set of smaller, recurring accounts. Twelve months in, you will be running structured account plans for your top accounts, owning the commercial relationship — pricing, negotiation, deal shaping — rather than relaying proposals from our pre-sales team. You'll have built a track record of self-originated cross-sell and upsell opportunities across all three of Codemonk's service lines. On our very largest accounts, you'll operate alongside company leadership, who stay involved as executive sponsors — this role is the account strategist and day-to-day commercial owner, not a replacement for that senior relationship.
What You'll Do
- Own the commercial relationship for a named portfolio of existing accounts, spanning global enterprise and mid-market industrial clients, from high-touch strategic accounts to lighter-touch recurring ones
- Build and maintain structured account expansion plans — growth levers, quarterly roadmap, risk register — for your top accounts, and run regular account reviews
- Proactively identify and pitch cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Codemonk's three service lines, rather than waiting for the client to ask
- Own pricing strategy and commercial structuring for deals within your accounts, partnering with our pre-sales team for technical scoping and estimates rather than simply passing their output through
- Track account health signals — utilization, satisfaction, delivery feedback — in partnership with delivery teams, and convert them into commercial conversations before they become risks
- Keep CRM records for your accounts accurate and complete, as a byproduct of running the account well — not as the job itself
- Partner with company leadership on executive-level engagement (client visits, roadmap workshops) for your most strategic relationships
Required
What we're looking for
- 5–7 years of experience in account management, client partnership, or enterprise sales within a project-based professional services, IT services, or software consulting environment (not primarily subscription/SaaS customer success)
- Experience owning commercial outcomes for enterprise accounts — pricing conversations, contract negotiation, deal structuring — not just relationship maintenance
- A track record of growing revenue within existing accounts through self-originated cross-sell or upsell, not only responding to inbound requests
- Comfort translating technical capability into business value for enterprise stakeholders, and partnering closely with technical or pre-sales teams for deeper scoping
- Strong CRM discipline and follow-through
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable navigating multiple levels of a large enterprise organization
Preferred
- Experience managing accounts in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
- Experience selling AI, data, or software services specifically
- Exposure to international client engagement, particularly Japan
- Experience building and running structured account plans or quarterly business reviews
