Job Description

Job Role: Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst

Years of Experience: 2-5 Years

Industry Preference: IT Services / Software / Technology

Job Location: Noida

(Note: Candidates with more than 5 years of experience are not eligible for this opportunity.)

Role Overview:

This position sits within the Sales Strategy and Transformation team in HCLTech's Productized IT Services unit. The team drives how the business sells — spanning revenue operations, data analysis and inferences, AI and sales-tool identification and adoption, sales enablement, and competition analysis and market intelligence. We are recruiting analysts across several of these tracks, and you will be aligned to one or more of them based on your strengths.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Strategy and Transformation team across one or more focus areas, including Revenue Operations, Data Analytics & Insights, AI and Sales Tool Evaluation & Adoption, Sales Enablement, and Competitive Intelligence & Market Research, with a primary focus on the US and UKI markets.
  • Collaborate with sales leads, revenue operations, solution architects, domain experts and internal stakeholders across the Productized IT Services unit, serving as a central point of contact.
  • Revenue Operations

  1. Own and improve sales processes, pipeline hygiene and forecasting cadence — tracking conversion, velocity and ARR/TCV across productized service lines — to drive efficiency and data accuracy.
  2. Collaborate with Finance, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure quality sales and customer data in Salesforce CRM and other systems.
  3. Advise the sales team on opportunity management and help with bookings closure requests and associated processes.
  4. Provide operational support to Sales, Marketing and Finance teams on system usage, and find reporting issues and process gaps and drive prompt resolution.

  • Data Analysis and Inferences

  1. Analyse sales and customer data and build reports and dashboards in Power BI — including win/loss analysis and early signals of expansion or churn risk — continuously improving data quality, accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations and insight that inform sales strategy and leadership decisions.

  • AI and Sales Tool Identification and Adoption

  1. Identify, evaluate and pilot AI and sales-productivity tools — from LLMs (e.g. Claude, GPT, Gemini) and workflow automation (e.g. n8n, Make, Zapier) to AI sales tools (e.g. Gong, Clari, Clay) that improve seller effectiveness.
  2. Drive adoption of selected tools across the sales organisation and measure their business impact.

  • Sales Enablement

  1. Prepare training material and playbooks and conduct user training for internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Enhance adoption of sales processes and tools and document functional and process requirements in detail.

  • Competition Analysis and Market Intelligence

  1. Track competitors, market trends and technology shifts across the productized IT services landscape.
  2. Produce market intelligence briefs and competitive analyses that shape go-to market and sales strategy.

What skills and experience are we looking for

  • Deep, hands-on ability with core productivity and BI tools — Microsoft Office (advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Power BI, Tableau or Looker — for analysis, reporting and executive ready deliverables.
  • Practical experience applying AI tools to your function (for analysis, content generation and sales productivity), with the curiosity to find, evaluate and adopt new tools — and the judgement to know when not to trust them.
  • Hands-on with a major CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot); familiarity with CPQ, sales-engagement or revenue-intelligence tools is an advantage.
  • Basic SQL or Python for data querying is an advantage.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work under pressure during North American and European business hours.
  • Passion for data, drive for self-initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Thrives in a complex, multi-cultural global matrixed organisation.
  • Ability to drive tasks to completion by taking full ownership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Understanding of, or experience working within, the IT / technology services industry; exposure to sales strategy, revenue operations or go-to-market functions is an advantage.
  • Ability to predict issues, challenges and respond to unforeseen changes swiftly.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills — able to see problems from multiple dimensions and drive them to resolution.
  • Competitor, market, technology, and industry awareness.
  • Comfort with spreadsheet-level financial modelling and budgeting.
  • Drive for innovation — willing to propose ideas others have not considered.
  • Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet stringent deadlines.
