About the Role

We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing building plans and preparing quantity estimates, coordinating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers. To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills to coordinate with design team and vendors. As a quantity surveyor, your responsibilities focus on helping to estimate costs, material quantities and project timelines. A key part of the role will be to liaise with a range of other teams working on the project, helping it to stay on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech Civil)
• 4-6 years of experience in quantity surveying and tender BOQ preparation in Building Projects construction.

Responsibilities

Cost Estimation and Budgeting

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates during various project stages (concept, schematic, detailed design, and execution).
• Assist in establishing a project budget and ensure alignment with the client's financial objectives.
• Monitor and control project costs to avoid overruns.

Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation

• Develop and maintain BOQs based on approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure that all BOQs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

Skills

• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite specifically MS Excel
• Well versed with various schedule of rates of CPWD and State PWDs SORs
• Able to analyze financial and quantity records and apply data to improved results
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
• In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, pricing, and industry
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Preparing Bar Bending Schedules,

Pay range and compensation package: 7.5-9 LPA
