Quality Control/Assurance Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues and ensures that established production procedures & instructions are strictly followed.
2. Monitor all operations that affect quality.
3. Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff.
4. Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
5. Appraise customers requirements and make sure they are satisfied with Product Quality.
6. Report deviations to production head to ensure immediate action
7. Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
8. Review current standards & policies and ensure Quality and safety Standards in the plant.
9. Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
10. Ensure all legal standards are met.
11. Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections.
12. Quality Assurance at Production site for incoming Raw materials to Production Floor, Process Quality of Outgoing Finished Products.
13. Preparing daily reports (Quality Data) and circulating with team.
14. Address all customer complaints and initiate CAPA.
15. Conduct periodic internal audits.
16. Handle any additional responsibilities as and when given by the superiors.
17. Update Manger for any significant problems, issues or concerns.
18. Ensures that all the Quality checking equipment's are operating properly & is properly maintained.
19. Close monitoring of process parameters as per the SOP & timely controlling the process deviation.
20. Maintaining and conducting Calibration for all the equipment's which requires and documenting the same.

Skills Required

1. Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
2. Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
3. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
4. Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
5. Communication skills
6. Result driven approach.
7. Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.

Technical/Functional Proficiency Required

1. Should have Knowledge of lab and production processes and techniques/methods applicable to quality control.

3. Experience in ink or paint manufacturing industry is added advantage
