QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating test processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of software releases. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure our applications are robust and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools.
• Executing automated tests and analyzing results to ensure software quality.
• Collaborating with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Identifying, recording, and tracking defects in a bug tracking system.
• Maintaining and updating existing automated tests as the application evolves.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve test automation processes.
• Contributing to continuous improvement in testing practices and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and testing life cycle.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
