We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead marketing and product management efforts for various product ranges across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. You will be responsible for analyzing market positioning, devising innovative growth strategies, managing budgets, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness and performance. This role requires significant experience in the pharmaceutical or beauty industry, with a strong focus on product management and sales force execution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Marketing and Product Management:
- Analyze branding positioning, competitors, and consumer insights to develop strategic marketing plans for product ranges, contributing to the setting of annual sales targets.
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns to ensure results are on or above set annual budgets.
- Devise innovative growth strategies and tactical programs to support brands activities and drive brand awareness and performance for different projects across Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines. This will include planning and leading the execution of events (e.g., society congresses, local events, tactical programs).
- Contribute to regular business unit meetings in a manner that facilitates ideas, results, fast action, and building bridges, consistent with our culture, to build success.
- Provide ongoing reports to help the Executive Management team reflect on the business, covering key issues, opportunities, competitive activity, short-term projects, and progress versus agreed milestones.
- Work with cross-functional teams (i.e., legal, compliance, regulatory, medical affairs, AMI, supply chain, procurement, and finance team) from ideas generation stage to carrying out programs adhering to compliance and local regulation.
- Select, manage, and work with external agencies (e.g., medical agencies, event agencies, printing agencies, societies etc.) as part of marketing execution, including developing KPIs for agencies.
- Work closely with the procurement department in vendor selection and creation, adhering to systems & compliance requirements, and providing all necessary documentation from quotation to invoicing.
- Overall management of major stand-alone roadshows throughout the year, and regional and international meetings, in consultation with international colleagues when necessary, and managing speakers/workshops at various meetings throughout the year.
- Support the company's Quality Management System, compliance-related requirements, and internal auditing processes.
Budget Management (including supply & demand plan):
- Manage the annual budget effectively.
- Complete Finance revisions budgets with accurate documentation.
- Ensure expenditure is accurate against forecast, aiming for >95% accuracy versus quarterly goals set.
- Forecast inventory accuracy requirements with Sales Manager(s), training department, and assist the logistics team with inventory control to maintain accuracy of product forecasts and requirements.
- Manage stocks ordering, shipment monitoring, and short-expiry stocks, including indent proposal, liaising with the distributor in stock management, and other related supply/demand operational issues.
Team Management & Sales Force Execution:
- Coordinate with Sales Manager(s) to create a positive team environment through the demonstration of strong leadership behaviors and company culture, including communicating deliverables of each product's portfolios.
- Design and implement achievable and strategically aligned goals that support the strategic direction of products and product portfolio.
- Coordinate with Sales Managers to ensure that the marketing plan of each product is communicated to the Sales Team.
- Monitor the progress of these goals and provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Make periodic calls with the Sales Team to get firsthand information on trends and conditions in the market/industry and to aid sales teams in their sales efforts.
- Develop cycle priorities, key messages & provide training to the sales team on how to use marketing material every month to guide the team in execution.
- Play a supportive role in improving sales effectiveness of the team.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of a Field force training strategy together with the Sales Training Manager.
- Ensure improvement of the sales force in both product knowledge and selling skills in conjunction with Sales Force Effectiveness and Training Managers/BE.

QUALIFICATION:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Science / Health Sciences; MBA degree preferred.
