Role - Printer SME

Location - Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage enterprise print infrastructure (on‑prem and cloud‑based).
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Print Servers, print queues, and driver repositories.
- Manage enterprise print management tools such as Papercut, Equitrac, SafeCom, uniFLOW, PrinterLogic, etc.
- Provide L2/L3 support for complex print issues and escalations.
- Implement secure print solutions, pull printing, and print auditing.
- Optimize print workflows, print fleet utilization, and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee MFD installation, configuration, firmware updates, and fleet management.
- Troubleshoot driver conflicts, spooler issues, connectivity failures, and print performance problems.
- Collaborate with vendors (HP, Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Lexmark).
- Document architecture diagrams, SOPs, configurations, and support guidelines.
- Lead print modernization initiatives such as serverless printing, cloud print, and automation.
- Manage SLA adherence, capacity planning, and reporting.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Windows Print Server Management and print spooler services.
- Experience in driver management (Universal Print Driver, PCL, PostScript).
- Hands-on with MFDs from major OEMs (HP, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, etc.).
- Proficiency in enterprise print solutions:
- LRS or
- Papercut MF / NG
- Equitrac
- uniFLOW
- SafeCom
- PrinterLogic / Serverless Print
- Knowledge of Microsoft Universal Print (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across networks, AD, GPO, and endpoint print issues.
- Basic scripting (PowerShell) for print automation.
