Head of Manufacturing

Our client is looking for a Head of Manufacturing who has been part of an organization during a phase of rapid, exponential growth. This is not a role for someone who has only managed a large, stable manufacturing setupwe are looking for a builder.

You should have experienced the journey of scaling manufacturing operations from relatively small volumes to significantly larger production capacities while building processes, systems, teams, quality standards, and operational excellence along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across production, planning, quality, engineering and continuous improvement.

- Scale manufacturing capabilities to support aggressive business growth while maintaining world-class quality and efficiency.

- Drive capacity expansion, productivity improvements and process optimization.

- Establish robust manufacturing systems, SOPs, KPIs and governance frameworks.

- Improve plant utilization, yield, throughput and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, R&D and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution.

- Drive automation, digitization and lean manufacturing initiatives.

- Build high-performing manufacturing leadership teams and develop future-ready capabilities.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, statutory and regulatory standards.

- Lead capital expenditure planning for future capacity expansion.

What We're Looking For:

- 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.

- Strong experience in Food, FMCG or Consumer Products manufacturing.

- Must have worked in a company that has gone through hyper-growth or rapid business scaling.

- Demonstrated experience scaling manufacturing operations significantly over a relatively short period.

- Experience setting up or expanding manufacturing facilities is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma and Operational Excellence.

- Data-driven decision maker with excellent analytical skills.

- Comfortable working in founder-led, fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

- Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management capabilities.
