Field Service Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our equipment at various client locations. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to clients.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Train customers on equipment usage and best practices.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of service reports and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with the sales team to identify opportunities for service improvement and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related field)
• 3-8 years of experience in field service engineering or a related technical role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and practices in field service environments
