Direct Tax - Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation and review of submissions for income tax proceedings.
• Coordinate and follow up with legal advisors to ensure timely filings and hearings.
• Support in compilation of paper books for submission before CIT(A)/ITAT and other authorities.
• Review compliances under the Income Tax Act, including return of income, other forms, and transfer pricing compliances.
• Support tax audits and assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Provide internal tax advisory under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• Follow up for income tax refunds, rectifications, and appeal effects.
• Prepare advance tax estimates and report to management along with all tax balances.
• Review financials from a tax perspective to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support internal structuring and acquisition-related initiatives from a tax standpoint.
