At Hashtag, the Content Strategist keeps our brands sharp, relevant, and winning. You own the content for the brands you're on: the ideas, the strategy, the copy and you turn a brand's direction into content people actually stop for, in whatever format the idea needs.

You love ideas, and you're online in the best way. You spot trends early, you write sharp, and you know what makes content work. You bring the ideas and make them real with the design and video teams.

What You'll Do

Own the Content

• Own content strategy and ideas for your brands.
• Come up with reels, posts, series, campaigns, scripts, and long-form ideas; spot trends early and make them yours.
• Write the copy: hooks, captions, scripts, articles, narrative.

Make It Real

• Own the idea, script, and direction for video and reels and direct the social shoots that Production produces and shoots.
• Brief Design, Motion, and Production clearly to bring ideas to life.
• Own the editorial calendar for your brands (Brand Partnerships approves for brand fit and publishes).
• Keep quality and timelines on your content.

Work With the Team

• Partner with Brand Partnerships on brand direction, and with Design and Production on craft.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

• Your content is sharp, on-brand, on-time, and performs.
• You need less direction and take on bigger brands.
• Teammates and Brand Partners trust your ideas.

Who You Are

• 2–4 years in content / social where you owned ideation, not just posting.
• Strong on platforms, trends, formats, and timing.
• A sharp writer across formats.
• Organised across multiple brands.
• Curious, proactive, and full of ideas.

Nice-to-Haves (Optional)

• Scripting, long-form, or SEO range.
• Basic design/video sense.
• Ambition to grow into a Senior Content Strategist.
