Role overview

The client is looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Backend Engineer to join our

growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing,

developing, and scaling backend systems in a fast-paced fintech environment. The role

requires expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, CI/CD practices, and

microservices architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend applications and APIs.

• Build high-performance microservices using Node.js and Python.

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Implement secure coding practices and ensure high system reliability and

performance.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.

• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system uptime and stability.

• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong hands-on expertise in:

o Node.js

o Python

o REST APIs

• Solid experience working with AWS cloud services.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or

DynamoDB.

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in the FinTech or Financial Services domain.

• Experience with scalable distributed systems and event-driven architecture.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
