About The Role

Neolytix is a US-headquartered healthcare managed services organization (MSO) serving 270+ provider organizations across the US, with delivery centres in Chicago, Gurugram, and Manila. We're looking for an Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to strengthen our global finance function across our US, India, and Philippines entities — not just the India books.

You'll own day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close, ensure statutory compliance across geographies, support global consolidation and US reporting across our multi-entity structure, and help build the controls and processes that scale with a fast-growing business. This is a hands-on role with team-supervision responsibility — suited to someone equally comfortable in the detail of a reconciliation and in presenting numbers to leadership. This is a full-time, work-from-office role (5 days a week) with flexibility in working hours.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Month-End Close

  • Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close — journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date general ledger in line with accounting standards and company policy
  • Review and post entries prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Accounts Payable, Receivable & Billing

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, client billing, and collections follow-up
  • Manage employee reimbursements, expense processing, and petty-cash controls
  • Monitor cash flow and support treasury and banking activities

Invoice & Contracts Management

  • Manage client and vendor invoicing for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across entities
  • Maintain and track finance-related contracts — renewals, obligations, and key commercial terms — in coordination with the relevant teams

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and management reports
  • Support global financial consolidation at the US (parent) level across all entities, including intercompany eliminations
  • Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior periods, with clear commentary for leadership
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and periodic financial planning cycles

Statutory Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure timely compliance with Indian statutory requirements — GST, TDS, income tax, PF/ESI, and ROC/Companies Act filings
  • Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, and prepare the required schedules and documentation
  • Maintain audit-ready records and help strengthen internal financial controls

Global & Intercompany Coordination

  • Support group and US reporting, including intercompany reconciliations across the US, India, and Philippines entities
  • Manage transfer pricing, income tax, and statutory compliance for the Philippines entity, coordinating with local advisors
  • Assist with US GAAP reporting requirements and coordinate with US finance stakeholders
  • Manage multi-currency transactions and related reconciliations

Process, Controls & Team Management

  • Develop and maintain a finance process matrix and internal control framework across the function
  • Supervise and develop a small team of accountants/associates — allocating work, reviewing output, and setting goals
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround
  • Document SOPs for key finance processes

What You Bring

Must-Have

  • CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com, or an equivalent qualification
  • 6–9 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including month-end close and financial reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Companies Act)
  • Hands-on experience with an accounting ERP (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Tally, SAP, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience supervising or reviewing the work of junior finance staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for working with internal teams and US-based stakeholders

Strong Preference

  • Experience in a BPO / KPO / ITO or shared-services environment serving US clients
  • Exposure to US GAAP and multi-entity / multi-currency accounting
  • Exposure to transfer pricing, international tax, and multi-country statutory compliance (India / US / Philippines)
  • Hands-on global / group consolidation experience, including intercompany eliminations

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with US healthcare or RCM finance
  • Experience with finance automation or reporting/BI tools
