We are looking for an experienced API Automation Selenium Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for APIs to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts for APIs.
• Execute and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand API specifications and requirements.
• Perform thorough testing of APIs to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
• Document test cases, results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in API automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like RestAssured, TestNG, or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
