Job Description –

Guidewire Policy Center Configuration Developer

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center (PC) Configuration Developer to join our team, with strong expertise in configuration and development within the Guidewire ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement Guidewire Policy Center configurations including:

Product Model (LOB, Coverages, Rating, Forms)
UI Configurations (PCF files)
Business Rules and Workflows

Customize and extend Policy Center using Gosu scripting and Guidewire best practices
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and technical walkthroughs
Perform unit testing and support integration/system testing cycles
Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance
Ensure adherence to Guidewire coding standards and development best practices
Contribute to upgrade and enhancement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration
Proficiency in:

Gosu programming
PCF (Page Configuration Framework)
Data Model Extensions
Business Rules and Web Services

Experience working in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
Understanding of Policy lifecycle (Quote to Bind to Issue)
Experience in requirement analysis, design, and development lifecycle
Knowledge of integration concepts (SOAP/REST, messaging)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with Guidewire Cloud / Digital Portals (JDP)
Exposure to Billing Center or Claim Center
Experience in Guidewire upgrades or version migrations
Knowledge of North American insurance market
Certification in Guidewire Policy Center

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
