Roles & Responsibilities :
 

1. 1. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Business Intelligence platform to address the analytical needs of the organisation.
2. 2. Understand business processes, identify the correct data sources and validate the quality of the data sources.
3. 3. Contribute to development of data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
4. 4. Explore data and perform data analysis to support business requirements.
5. 5. Work with engineers to develop a high-quality data product.
6. 6. Interface with business representatives to proactively identify opportunities and gather requirements.
7. 7. Develop business acumen and cultivate stakeholder relationships.
8. 8. Analyse and visualise the business impact of data products.
9. 9. Document analytical methodologies used in the execution of data products.
10. 10. Constantly evolve as a Data Engineering and Analytics professional.

 

Requirements :
 

1. 1. Basic understanding of Data warehousing, ETL, Big data.
2. 2. Any understanding of GCP (Google Cloud) components such as Big Query, Dataflow, App Engine, Cloud Function or similar Cloud services is good to have.
3. 3. Good understanding of Python, Java, SQL based querying languages.
4. 4. Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and deliver results.
5. 5. Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in the Data Engineering space is highly desirable.
6. 6. Good presentation and communication skills; strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

 

Candidate Preference

Completed or Pursuing Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
