Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand the core business of AXP and the levers behind various decisions
2. Understand the card economics and how loyalty programs drive those economics
3. Understand regulatory reporting instructions and changes proposed by the regulators. Act to implement the changes and collaborate with stakeholders.
4. Contribute to critical business initiatives and other initiatives identified by leadership to transform current processes.
5. Understand the specific business problem at hand and analyze relevant data to derive business insights and translate it into implementable solutions
6. Develop KPIs and reporting to ensure effective governance and create transparency with stakeholders on key metrics, potential issues and developing risks
7. Support strategic analysis on business unit margins, profitability enhancements etc.
8. Drive transformational agenda including developing driver-based planning models
9. Analyze & develop useful, actionable insights on key performance metrics, revenue & expenses.
