Job Description

1. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
2. 1. Research market trends, news, and events that can affect derivative product prices
3. 2. Assist with evaluating data and financial documents to find investing possibilities and advise senior traders
4. 3. Help the firm execute trades which may involve placing orders, monitoring market circumstances, and working with teammates to execute transactions efficiently
5. 4. Monitor risk exposure and detect risks and weaknesses in the firm's derivative product portfolio
6. 5. Work on risk management solutions to limit these risks and protect the firm's assets
7. 6. Keep order tickets, trade confirmations, and settlement records accurate
8. 7. Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on portfolio performance
