Key Area of contribution

1)Formulation & Implementation of marketing and sales strategy for achieving targeted objectives in the Zone.

  • Focus on getting larger revenue share and by strengthening our market presence.
  • Close coordination with Sales Team for improving of sales realizations.
  • Develop/create dealer network for improvement in sales.
  • Coordinate with Unit Operations and supply chain team to ensure products are manufactured and delivered as per the customer needs and required quality

2)Sales Management-

  • Direct/Regulate the activities to ensure effective development of competent market and sales team for enhancing performance.
  • To plan and manage the sales key account for customer retention..Interaction with team members for identification of improvement opportunities and developing implementation plans.
  • Review, study and ensure preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Implementation of extrinsic reward mechanism for motivating the employees.
  • Identification of the potential opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Implementation of the distribution system.
  • Monitor and plan the dispatches as per the customer requirements.
  • Interacting with key accounts about their requirements and taking actions to fulfil it.

3)Benchmarking within and outside industry to find out the potential risks and threats-

  • Networking within and outside industry to find out customer growth or otherwise movement and its impact on our business.
  • Guide regions and units in optimizing sales based on market trends.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to learn and anticipate changes in demand and pricing

4)Receivables Management

  • Deliver overall Revenue & Collections targets budgeted for the assigned Zone
  • Monitor and guide team to recover receivables from customers on timely basis.
  • Review of contracts commercial terms and suggest modifications as per DCA policy.
  • Implementation of DCA policy in the department.
  • Review of liability coming out of sales to customers in the department.

5)Safety and Sustainability-

  • Monitor and review the safety aspects in the sales of hazardous chemicals like Chlorine, HCL, H2, SBP etc
  • Guide customers on DCA policy on safety and sustainability
  • Lead the company initiatives on safety in the department

6)Manage people processes effectively

  • Develop the MDP of team and help them in its implementation
  • Develop team members skills by giving them exposure to new development and initiatives.

7)MIS & Knowledge Management-

  • Formalize the process of collection information on customers, market, competition etc
  • Develop MIS for management review and action planning
