The impact you will have in this role:
The Workplace Design Facilities Engineer is responsible for managing the coordination of day-to-day facility operations, furniture, fixture and equipment (FFE) repairs and maintenance in the designated office and the role incumbent is expected to be physically present in the office 5 days per week other than whilst on leave. This position is also responsible for supervision of outsourced facility operations staff.
What you'll do
- Facility management, engineering services & maintenance (soft services and technical)
- Preventive maintenance for office equipment's, Maintain annual maintenance contract.
- Manage food and beverage requirement for employees at the site.
- Meet ISO50001 and 14001 compliance and requirements for the site.
- Manage service now tickets and report.
- Manage company provided transport for employees and visitors.
- Manage contractors with 100% statutory compliance and regulations.
- Validating vendor invoices for payment process
- Negotiate and place REQ for purchases.
- Managing asset inventories
- Coordinate Sr. leadership visits and events
- Control on office supplies, mailroom, and employee parking
- Budget monitoring
- Liaises with building landlord and government offices for regulatory purposes. Liaises with site Regional Area Manager and attend meetings when necessary.
- Supports Health & Safety a required including workplace risk assessments
- Management of daily mail, shipping and receiving activities, interacting with the Office Services Group
- 24/7 Response to emergency situations relating to employees and/or facilities
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-12 years of related experience
- Qualification: BE (Electrical) or equivalent degree with experience in core workplace engineering.
Talents Needed for Success:
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
- Knowledge in Schneider Eco structure
- Able to work on service now ticketing system and report.
- Knowledge in ISO50001 & 14001
- Ability to read architectural and engineering building drawings
- Excellent communication & written skills and client focus
- Strong vendor relationship management skills
- Ability to handle the site independently along with contractor staffs.
