About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Workday Compensation professional to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of compensation programs within Workday. This role will be responsible for translating business compensation strategies into scalable system solutions, owning end-to-end configuration, ensuring seamless integration across HCM, Absence, and Payroll, and supporting global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Owns the architecture and configuration for Compensation and Advanced Compensation including merit, bonus, allowance and equity programs
- Transform business compensation strategies into scalable Workday solutions
- Partner with HCM, Absence, and Payroll teams on new configuration to eliminate negative downstream impacts
- Configure and maintain:
- Compensation plan, packages, and eligibility rules
- Compensation statements
- Compensation scorecards and scorecard profiles
- Job profiles, compensation grades, and compensation grade profiles for multiple countries
- Compensation reports, calculated fields, business processes, and conditions
- Other compensation functionality
- Perform regular compensation audits and provide scalable resolutions
Education & Experience Requirements
- 5-8 years of Workday Compensation experience
- Demonstrated experience configuring complex compensation programs in Workday for global companies (specifically USA and India)
- Understanding of touchpoints between Compensation, HCM, Absence, and Payroll
- Workday Compensation Certification
- Workday Advanced Compensation Certification
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related degree
