WordPress Developer (PHP / JavaScript / Front-End)

About the Role:
We're looking for an experiencedWordPress Developerskilled in PHP, JavaScript, and front-end technologies to build high-performance websites and WooCommerce solutions. You'll handle the full development lifecyclefrom scoping and implementation to QA and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintaincustom themes and pluginsfollowing WordPress coding standards.
- Extend and customizeWooCommerce(checkout, payments, shipping, product logic).
- ConvertFigma/Sketch designsinto responsive, accessible front-end interfaces.
- Integrate withREST/GraphQL APIsand third-party services.
- Optimize site performance (Core Web Vitals), caching, and SEO schema (JSON-LD).
- Work with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
- 35+ years in WordPress (PHP 7/8) with hands-ontheme and plugin development.
- StrongJavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and responsive UI skills.
- Solid understanding ofhooks, filters, custom post types, and caching.
- Experience withWooCommerce customizationand API integrations.
- Familiar withperformance tuning, asset bundling (Vite/Webpack), and lazy loading.
- Proficient withGit, Jira, and CI (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
Nice to Have:
- Headless WordPress (WPGraphQL, Next.js/React).
- Experience withCheckout.com, Stripe, Cybersource, Tabby, Tamara.
- Knowledge ofCloudflare, Nginx/Apache, Docker, and WP-CLI.
- Familiarity withAlgolia, SEO schema, andArabic/RTLdevelopment.
