Job Summary
We are seeking a talented
WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress themes and plugins, along with a background in front-end and back-end development. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to deliver high-quality and innovative web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development & Maintenance: Design and build responsive websites using WordPress, ensuring high performance and user experience.
- Customization: Customize themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
- Content Management: Manage website content updates and implement SEO best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs or issues related to website functionality and performance.
- Integration: Integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed.
- Testing: Conduct website performance tests and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Optimization: Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
- Security: Monitor and implement website security measures.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS architecture, custom themes, and plugins.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome DevTools.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and their integration.
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
- Experience in WooCommerce development (if applicable).
