Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proven experience building responsive and user-friendly websites from scratch using WordPress.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery).
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, database structure, and best coding practices.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations within WordPress.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of website optimization techniques (page speed, SEO best practices).
- Excellent English communication skillsboth verbal and written.
- Comfortable working with international clients across US, UK, and Europe.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with popular page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles for web.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for website deployment.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
- Experience with caching mechanisms and security best practices for WordPress.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable and secure WordPress websites.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Work closely with design and product teams to translate requirements into functional WordPress sites.
- Optimize WordPress applications for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- Manage website deployments, updates, and testing.
- Collaborate with international clients on requirements, updates, and feedback.
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and project discussions.
