Role & Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience in Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise-grade Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) environments across on-prem and hybrid infrastructures.
- Deploy, configure, and patch OS-level services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SSH, and system-level security controls.
- Automate server provisioning, backup strategies, and configuration management using PowerShell, Bash, and tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to align server architecture with CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Respond to critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to reduce MTTR and ensure SLA compliance.
- Document system configurations, change logs, and operational runbooks to ensure audit readiness and team scalability.
