Essential Job Functions DESIGN
• Interprets & evaluates client requirements.
• Demonstrates understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts with ability to lead and develop design element components in BIM.

• Develops, prepares and coordinates presentation materials with project team members.
• Manipulates advanced design elements such as proportion, color, light, texture & scale.
• Facilitates firm's and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability.
Job Description:
- Prepare building drawings that address and meet exacting project functions of aesthetics and practicality and budget.
- Analyze user(s) requirements while participating in research, conceptual and development of designs.
- Assist in the analysis of proposed architectural / engineering alternatives and Minutes of meetings, sketches, reports, contract drawings, etc.
- Participate as applicable in research ,conceptual and development designs exercises.
- Work in a team and coordinate building design with other design professionals and Engineers.
- Implement department and QA procedures .
- Coordinate project details with peers from other departments. Clarify/resolve problems, develop designs, and prepare design modifications as required.
- Prepare a complete set of Architectural design construction drawings, documents, specifications and maintaining the company's graphical standards for deliverables.
TECHNICAL
- Develops and produces tender documents and develops detail sketches.
- Coordinates with consultants and engineers, ie. HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Structure, Fire and Life Safety.
- Provides programming and space planning analysis with area calculations.
- Assists in technical and design coordination of documents with adherence to schedules and budget.
- Performs site analysis, including survey of existing conditions and site measurements.
- Prepares red-marked revisions.
- Prepares mock-up drawing packages.
- Reviews shop drawing submittals.
- Participates in scope & prepare effort estimates for new projects proposals
- Performs tasks according to the company Project Procedures Manual.
MANAGEMENT
- Maintain and organize project files, schedules, and workflows.
- Performs within constraints of project budgets and schedules.
- Manage multiple project workloads, delegate team tasks effectively, prioritize schedules.
- Coordinates with consultants and engineers.
- Learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Mentor junior staff.
- Contribute to team-building and continuous development strategies of the Interior unit.
Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION Professional Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline
EXPERIENCE TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
- 6-10 years with focus on BIM projects.
- Strong design & development portfolio
- Experience in all phases of a project including programming, concept, schematic design, detailed design and tender documents.
- Demonstrated competency in interior design specifications, calculations and industry standards, construction techniques and application of international building codes.
- Experience with coordination of mechanical and electrical systems, lighting and acoustics Strong BIM, 3D modeling and graphic design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaborative and professional work ethic
- LEED accreditation is a plus.
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit for design authoring, documentation, and project delivery.
- Knowledge of collaboration within BIM, including cloud-based markups, MEP/consultant coordination, and clash detection.
- Familiarity with real-time rendering, material creation, and management in BIM and parametric workflows
- Understanding real-time visualization development within the context of BIM, trade/ consultant coordination and clash detection.
- Familiarity with strategic planning and BIM project setup.
- Familiarity with walkthroughs, panoramas, and design reviews is a plus.
- Familiarity with computational design applications such as Dynamo and Rhino is a plus.
