Profile: VMware Administrator L2

Roles & Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration: Deploy, install, configure, and upgrade VMware software and virtualization platforms based on client requirements.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure, including virtual machines, ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and networking components.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of VMware environments to ensure efficient resource utilization and high availability.
Security: Implement security best practices to protect virtualized environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for virtualized systems, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for VMware infrastructure.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their VMware-related concerns and inquiries.
Capacity Planning: Assess and plan for future capacity requirements, recommending hardware and software upgrades as needed.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to integrate VMware solutions into the overall IT infrastructure.
Training: Train client staff on VMware best practices and usage to enhance their proficiency.

Key Skills required:


Strong knowledge of VMware technologies, including ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, and NSX.
Experience with virtualization management tools and platforms.
Proficiency in networking and storage concepts related to virtualization.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Job Location: Navi Mumbai Airoli

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Certification: VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, VCIX) are often required or highly preferred

Total Experience: Min. 4-7 years experience

Relevant Experience: min. 4 years (L2 Level)

Shift: 1 Pm -10 PM

Salary: As per industry standards.
