At Weddings by Sonders, we don't just document weddings—we craft cinematic films that families cherish for generations.
We're looking for a full-time Video Editor who understands storytelling, pacing, emotion, and the art of making people feel something through every edit.
What You'll Be Editing
- YouTube documentaries and storytelling films
- Long-form YouTube episodes
- YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels
- Wedding teasers, highlights, and cinematic films
- Social media content for both brands
- Podcast episodes and promotional edits
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional editing experience
- Strong understanding of storytelling, rhythm, music, and emotional pacing
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve for colour grading is an advantage
- Ability to work with multicam footage and sync audio efficiently
- Strong sense of sound design and cinematic transitions
- Comfortable handling multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Bonus If You
- Understand YouTube retention and pacing
- Know how to create engaging Shorts and Reels
- Have experience editing wedding films
- Can contribute creative ideas during the post-production process
- Love documentaries and visual storytelling
