Job Title: Video Editor

About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-house content and media team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in video editing and be proficient with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience with motion graphics and animation will be a significant advantage. A flair for graphic design will be considered a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging video content for various platforms (social media, web, presentations, etc.)
- Create basic to intermediate motion graphics and animations to enhance video storytelling
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand project goals and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
- Ensure consistency in style, branding, and quality across all video content
- Organize and maintain media assets for ongoing and future projects
- Incorporate sound design, visual effects, transitions, and text overlays as needed
- Adapt videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12 years of hands-on experience in video editing, preferably in a creative or media environment
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines with efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have:
- Graphic design skills for social media creatives, thumbnails, posters, etc.
- Knowledge of color grading and audio mixing
- Experience working with script-to-screen content creation
- Working knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time, in-house position based in Ahmedabad.
- Candidates must be available to work from the office during regular business hours.
