About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 1–5 years of professional experience to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in creating engaging long-form and short-form video content, with a particular focus on podcast editing and social media reels.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit podcast episodes for digital platforms, including YouTube and audio-first content formats.
• Create engaging reels and short-form video content optimized for social media platforms.
• Enhance videos using motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and visual effects.
• Collaborate closely with content, production, and creative teams to deliver high-quality video assets.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high creative and technical standards.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Hands-on experience in editing podcasts and creating social media reels.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, editing techniques, and visual aesthetics.
• Must be based in Mumbai and available to work from the office.

Security & Data Handling Responsibilities: Handle sensitive data responsibly in compliance with the DPDP Act, ISO-27001:2022, and Pratilipi's internal security policies — ensuring data privacy, confidentiality, and NDA obligations at all times.
