Role Description As a Video Editor Intern at Velvet Reign, you will support the production team in assembling and editing video content for advertisements, short films, event coverage, and social media. This internship is an on-site role based in Mumbai, where you will work closely with directors, cinematographers, and designers to refine footage, apply transitions, and ensure narrative and visual consistency. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, performing basic video color grading, adding motion graphics, syncing audio, and preparing final exports in required formats. You will also assist in brainstorming creative concepts, maintaining project file management, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This internship role is designed to help you build practical skills and gain hands-on experience in a professional production setting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and an understanding of the end-to-end video creation process.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, including timeline management, cuts, transitions, and basic sound adjustments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual tone, consistency, and overall aesthetic.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to take constructive feedback and adapt quickly.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Mumbai and manage multiple tasks.
- Relevant coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio demonstrating video editing and visual storytelling will be beneficial.
