Role Description: The Video Editor Intern role at MindBrain is an on-site internship based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will assist in editing video content for various digital platforms, including promotional materials, training modules, and social media campaigns. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, performing basic and advanced edits, adding transitions, sound, and visual effects, and collaborating with designers and content teams to maintain brand consistency. The intern will also support video production tasks such as preparing assets, exporting final files in required formats, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional environment, mentorship from experienced team members, and opportunities to contribute creatively to multimedia projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to work with raw footage and deliver polished outputs.
  • Proficiency or foundational knowledge in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
  • Ability to create or support Motion Graphics and basic Graphics for intros, lower thirds, and visual elements.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Filmora, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and an understanding of pacing, composition, and audio-visual alignment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Media, Film, Design, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and a portfolio or sample work showcasing video projects (academic or personal) is preferred.
