Role Description The Video Editor Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting Laneway's media and marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and client projects, while maintaining brand consistency and storytelling quality. The intern will assist in basic video production tasks, organize raw footage, apply color grading, and integrate motion graphics and visual elements as needed. Collaboration with the creative and marketing teams to refine concepts, adapt content for different platforms, and meet project deadlines is an important part of the role. The position offers exposure to real-world business and marketing content, with opportunities to learn and contribute to a fast-growing consulting and media environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for enhancing video content.
- Familiarity with common editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and time management skills are required.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, take feedback constructively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams is expected.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program (film, media, design, communications, or related field) is a plus.
