Working days: Monday to Friday (+Alternate Saturday in a month)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor with a minimum of 2 years of experience in editing content for social media platforms, YouTube, and podcasts.
You'll be responsible for turning raw footage and audio into compelling, platform-specific content that aligns with our brand and engages our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Edit audio and video podcasts, including noise reduction, intro/outro branding, and syncing with visuals
- Repurpose long content (e.g. podcasts, webinars, YT videos) into reels, shorts, and audiograms
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, subtitles, and transitions to enhance video quality
- Collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent storytelling
- Manage, organize, and archive raw footage, final files, and project assets
- Stay updated with content trends, tools, and platform-specific formats
Tools & Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition (or similar audio tools)
- Strong knowledge of video/audio formats, color grading, and sound design
- Experience in editing podcasts (audio-only and video-based) for Spotify, YouTube, etc.
- Ability to clean up audio, remove background noise, and sync voice with visuals
- Comfortable working with different aspect ratios for Reels, Shorts, and IG Stories
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of editing experience in social media, YouTube, and podcast content
- Strong portfolio of edited videos and audio samples (including at least one podcast episode)
- Understanding of audience engagement through visuals, thumbnails, and sound
- Bonus: Experience with YouTube SEO, podcast publishing, or using tools like Descript/Anchor
