Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ranchi. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with FormsADDA's brand and educational mission. Day-to-day tasks include assembling and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, and graphics, and collaborating with the content and marketing teams to create explanatory videos, testimonials, and promotional materials. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and ensuring all video assets are optimized for digital platforms. The Video Editor will manage project timelines, maintain organized media libraries, and consistently deliver high-quality content within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience turning raw footage into compelling narratives.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output across videos.
• Ability to create Motion Graphics and basic Graphics to enhance educational and promotional video content.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop or equivalent).
• Good understanding of digital and social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for video distribution.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Ranchi.
• Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating video and motion work is required.
