Role Description

The Video Editor role at Evolve Media Solutions is a full-time, hybrid position based for candidates residing in Chennai. This role involves editing video content for a variety of marketing campaigns, including social media, digital ads, and branded content, ensuring alignment with creative briefs and brand guidelines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, refining story flow, applying transitions and effects, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to meet project goals and deadlines.

The Video Editor will also perform basic color correction and grading, support motion graphics integration, and adapt videos for multiple formats and platforms.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to delivering polished, engaging visual content.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and post-production, with experience crafting clear, engaging visual narratives.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual consistency and mood across projects.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
• Graphics skills for designing or adapting visual elements such as titles, lower thirds, and overlays.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Solid understanding of digital and social media video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for online distribution.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with creative, marketing, and client-facing teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating previous video editing work for marketing, advertising, or branded content.
• 1 to 2 years work experience only; candidates with more than 2 years of work experience, please excuse.
