We also organize Sakura Quest, a growing Indo-Japan education and cultural platform connecting students, universities, schools, institutions, and organizations from India and Japan.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Creative Video Editor & Content Producer who combines strong technical editing skills with creative storytelling ability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Video Editing & Post Production

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, webinars, and educational content

• Create short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media platforms

• Add subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, music, and visual effects

• Ensure professional quality output

Content Packaging & Creative Storytelling

• Improve storytelling structure and viewer engagement

• Create compelling intros, hooks, and retention-focused edits

• Suggest improvements to content flow and presentation

• Contribute ideas for thumbnails, titles, and content packaging

Social Media & Platform Optimization

• Understand YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and podcast platforms

• Optimize content for audience engagement and retention

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with content strategists, social media team, and leadership

• Participate in content planning and brainstorming sessions

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• Adobe After Effects

• Video storytelling and pacing

• Motion graphics fundamentals

• Audio editing and sound design

• Color correction and grading

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 2–5 years of experience in video editing and digital content production

• Experience with YouTube creators, agencies, media companies, ed-tech companies, or digital-first brands

• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and engagement-focused editing
