Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Dindigul. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, organizing media assets, and editing videos for various digital channels, including social media, marketing campaigns, and branded content. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and ensuring high-quality visual output aligned with project briefs. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and simple graphic elements, and collaborating with producers, designers, and other team members to meet deadlines. The Video Editor is expected to maintain consistency with brand guidelines, optimize videos for different formats, and proactively suggest creative improvements.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in video production and video editing, including experience with professional editing software.
  • Proficiency in video color grading and basic color correction to achieve consistent, high-quality visuals.
  • Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
  • Understanding of digital video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for web and social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow and interpret creative briefs.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
  • Time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial; prior portfolio demonstrating editing and motion work is strongly preferred.
