Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video footage using Edius, ensuring smooth transitions, clean cuts, and professional output.
- Work closely with the production and creative teams to understand project requirements and desired outcomes.
- Add effects, graphics, music, and sound to enhance the final product.
- Maintain consistency in style, tone, and branding across all videos.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Optimize video formats for various platforms (web, social media, etc.).
Qualification and requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing Edius-based projects.
- Proficiency in Edius (required); knowledge of other editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international clients.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and audio editing.
- Familiarity with different video formats and compression techniques.
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing Edius-based projects.
