Job Title: Video Analytics Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Video Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered video analytics solutions for safety, security, retail, and operational use cases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in computer vision, real-time video processing, object detection/tracking, and GPU-based inference. You will work closely with business, data, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance video analytics applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time video analytics solutions using Computer Vision and Deep Learning techniques.
- Build and optimize object detection, tracking, and video processing pipelines.
- Develop AI models for surveillance, retail analytics, safety monitoring, and operational intelligence.
- Optimize inference performance using GPU acceleration and edge computing technologies.
- Integrate video analytics solutions with streaming platforms and backend services.
- Process and analyze live video streams from CCTV, IP cameras, and RTSP/RTMP sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and production-ready AI solutions.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model accuracy and system performance.
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of deployed video analytics applications.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Computer Vision and Video Processing.
- Experience in Object Detection and Object Tracking algorithms.
- Knowledge of video streaming technologies (RTSP, RTMP, GStreamer, FFmpeg, etc.).
- Experience with GPU inference using frameworks such as TensorRT, CUDA, ONNX Runtime, or similar.
- Experience with OpenCV and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with Docker, REST APIs, and Linux environments.
- Good understanding of AI model deployment and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with YOLO, DeepStream, ByteTrack, SORT, DeepSORT, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of edge AI deployment on NVIDIA Jetson or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and microservices architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of overall experience, including at least 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in Video Analytics, Computer Vision, or related AI technologies.
